Nebraska lands second 2025 commitment from in-state libero Keri Leimbach
Nebraska volleyball has earned its second 2025 commitment in the same number of days. Defensive specialist/libero Keri Leimbach, who is from Lincoln (Neb.) Lutheran, is going to be a Homegrown Husker.
Leimbach is the No. 36 2025 prospect by PrepVolleyball.com and the No. 39 prospect according to Prep Dig.
“I am so so excited to announce that I have committed to play volleyball at the University of Nebraska,” Leimbach said on Twitter. “I would like to thank God, my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped me along the way. Thank you to Coach Cook, Coach Reyes, Coach Hunter, and Coach Larson! GBR”
Lincoln Lutheran has won back-to-back Class C-2 championships with Lincoln Lutheran. The Warriors have lost two games in two seasons, going 78-2 in 2021 and 2022.
Leimbach averaged 4.9 digs per set over both seasons. She racked up 933 digs in two seasons.
The soon-to-be high school junior had 67 service aces in 2021 and 68 aces in 2022. Leimbach, who plays club for Nebraska One, can jump serve and float serve like the Huskers usually do.

Nebraska volleyball picks up commitment from 2025 setter Campbell Flynn
Nebraska’s coaches have seen Keimbach play several times. She went to the USA volleyball NTDP U17 training camp last summer.
Leimbach is the second-highest in-state Nebraska player behind 2025 middle blocker Natalie Wardlow. Wardlow committed to Wisconsin on Saturday, June 18.
Leimbach is the second class of 2025 player to commit to Nebraska. Setter Campbell Flynn committed to the Huskers on Friday, becoming the first in the 2025 class.
