Nebraska’s 2023 NCAA Transfer Portal radar continues to take shape, and a new name vaulted up the watch list on Thursday.

Georgia guard transfer Kario Oquendo announced that he had narrowed down his list to four schools: Nebraska, Auburn, Oregon, and Utah.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound senior declared for the NBA Draft while also entering his name into the portal on March 22. He also went into the portal after the 2021-22 season but eventually opted to return to the Bulldogs for another year.

Oquendo led UGA in scoring with 15.2 points per game as a sophomore two seasons ago after transferring in from Florida SouthWestern State. The Titusville, Florida, native averaged 12.7 ppg and 2.6 rpg in 2022-2023 but shot just just 26.7% on 3-pointers.
