Nebraska RB commit Kewan Lacy cracks the On3 Top 300 and more Husker commits climb
Nebraska running back commit Kewan Lacy received a big rankings bump on Monday. The Lancaster (Texas) product is the latest member of NU’s class of 2024 to earn a fourth star, as Lacy is now a part of the On3 Top 300.
Lacy’s overall industry ranking is still at three stars, as the other three major recruiting services have him listed at three stars. On3 now ranks Lacy No. 298 overall and the 25th-best running back in the country.
Another notable rankings move in the Top 300 for the Huskers came from defensive back commit Mario Buford. The DeSoto (Texas) product went from No. 374 overall to No. 204 in the On3 Top 300.
Defensive line commit Carlon Jones also saw a big jump. The Bay City (Texas) standout went from No. 473 to No. 258 in the overall On3 Top 300. He, too is now ranked four stars by On3 but remains an overall industry-ranked three-star.
