Nebraska volleyball announces spring match against SDSU in Ord

Nebraska volleyball’s 2025 spring match will be in Ord, Neb. at Ord High School on Saturday, May 3. The Huskers will face South Dakota State at 2 p.m.
Nebraska Public Media and B1G+ will stream the match for the fourth consecutive year. The Huskers will sign autographs after the match.
Tickets can only be purchased at Ord High School. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 12. The tickets are $15 each and must be purchased in person with cash only.
Former Husker head coach John Cook began playing Nebraska’s spring match in towns across Nebraska. He wanted to ensure that everyone who loved Husker volleyball was able to watch and support the team in person. That is why tickets can only be purchased in person.
In 2024, Nebraska played in Kearney, Neb. in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,094 at the UNK Health and Sports Center. Beforehand in 2023, they traveled to Central City, Neb. and recorded an attendance of 2,096 at the Bison Activity Dome.

The Huskers’ spring match has also been in Grand Island, McCook, Scottsbluff, Norfolk, Wayne, Ogallala and North Platte.
Volleyball to be a part of “Husker Events”
The Nebraska volleyball team will also play a spring match against Kansas at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on April 26. The match will start at 6:30 p.m. CT after a football event at Memorial Stadium (2 p.m.) and a soccer game vs. Wyoming at Hibner Stadium (4:30 p.m.)
Busboom Kelly’s first match as the Huskers’ head coach will be in Devaney rather than in Ord for its annual spring match.
Husker fans will get two looks at Nebraska volleyball’s squad this spring. It will not be their full 2025 roster as Baylor opposite hitter Allie Sczech and freshmen middle blockers Manaia Ogbechie and Kenna Cogill arrive in late May.
