Nebraska will host Georgia transfer OL Jacob Hood this weekend
Nebraska is not done mining the transfer portal this January. The Huskers are hosting another player from the University of Georgia – offensive lineman Jacob Hood.
The 6-foot-8, 350-pound Hood spent just one season in Athens before entering the transfer portal on Jan. 13. He confirmed to HuskerOnline he is visiting Lincoln and leaves town on Sunday.

He is now the fourth Bulldog player the Huskers have hosted from the portal, joining edge rusher MJ Sherman and tight ends Arik Gilbert and Brett Seither. Both Sherman and Gilbert committed to Nebraska this week.
Jacob Hood’s body of work is limited
In one season at Georgia, Hood did not see any action for the Bulldogs.
He was a consensus three-star prospect according to On3 and the 17th-best player in the state of Tennessee for the class of 2022.
