Predictions are "N" for both Ethan Nation and Cameron Lenhardt
Nebraska could land two more members of the 2023 recruiting class as part of the Under Armour All-American Game commitments. Those announcements will take place today before and during the game on Tuesday. Ethan Nation from Roswell (Ga.) and previous Nebraska commit Cameron Lenhardt from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy have the Huskers on their list of possible destinations.
There is always something about a public commitment from an All-American game that gets a fanbase fired up. It speaks well of the recruit to be nationally recognized for one, and number two, it’s terrific for the program to have those type of recruits choose their school.
These announcements haven’t gone Nebraska’s way very often, but that should change today. Both Nation and Lenhardt announce throughout the television coverage today for the Under Armour All-American game, and predictions around On3/HuskerOnline are favorable for the Big Red.
Nation has gotten some favorable reports about his abilities from the practices in Orlando. The three-star cornerback holds over 50 offers but only officially visited Nebraska. Still, following his official visit to Nebraska, he said that schools he unofficially visited were still in the picture when it came to his decision.
While recapping his official visit to Nebraska, Nation said he was down to Nebraska, Alabama, UCLA, Colorado and Georgia. During the All-American game week, he reported that his final four were Ohio State, Houston, Auburn and Nebraska.
Both Sean Callahan and myself have had predictions for Nation to choose Nebraska coming as early as 12/18. The current On3 RPM has Nebraska with a 96.5% chance to gain Nation’s commitment today. Nation will announce his commitment ahead of the game today.

Lenhardt has taken two official visits to Nebraska. The four-star Edge from IMG Academy took an official visit on June 24th when Scott Frost was the head coach and again on December 9th after Matt Rhule was announced as the new head coach.
Lenhardt committed to Nebraska in August and decommitted the next month following Frost being fired. Throughout the process, from his official visit in June to committing, there wasn’t a lot of noticeable energy in Lenhardt’s voice talking about Nebraska. Following his visit to Nebraska in December, Lenhardt sounded completely different.
It was clear that the new staff at Nebraska had Lenhardt feeling optimistic about Nebraska and had him thinking about re-joining the 2023 recruiting class. Both Sean and I have put in an updated forecast for December to Nebraska. The Huskers have an 85.7% chance of landing the four-star edge according to On3’s RPM. Lenhardt will announce his decision during the fourth quarter of today’s game.
Nebraska has 21 commitments headed into Tuesday and has the 33rd-rated class in the country, according to On3 and the 5th-best class in the Big Ten conference.
