Report: Matt Rhule and Nebraska are close to finalizing a deal
For the last few days, all signs have pointed to former Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule to land the Nebraska job.
Less than one hour before the Huskers’ Black Friday game at Iowa, things continue to point towards Rhule.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Nebraska and Rhule are in the final stages of contract negotiations.
