Stanford OL Walter Rouse sets decision timeline

Stanford transfer portal offensive lineman Walter Rouse has set his decision timeline.
After taking official visits this past week to Oklahoma, Iowa and Nebraska, and Auburn in December, Rouse told HuskerOnline his next plans.
“I’ll be making my decision Tuesday or Wednesday,” Rouse said.
He added that his visit to Nebraska took place on Saturday-Sunday. He was at Iowa and Oklahoma Wednesday through Friday. He is down to a final three of NU, OU and Iowa. His trip to Lincoln opened his eyes.
“I was pleasantly surprised,” Rouse said of his trip to Nebraska. “The visit went very well.”
Walter Rouse is not the only high-profile portal OL to watch
Rouse is one of two high-value transfer portal offensive linemen Husker fans will be watching closely this week.
On top of Rouse, Baylor guard Micah Mazzccua will make his announcement at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

Mazzccua is choosing between Auburn, NU and Florida. He visited Auburn before Nebraska and then wrapped up the weekend in Gainesville.
The 6-foot-5, 331-pound Mazzccua played 780 snaps at left guard this past season at Baylor and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-6, 318-pound Rouse has played 2,552 snaps at left tackle for the Cardinal, making 39 starts over the last four seasons. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Also on Monday, Arkansas’s Malik Hornsby committed to Texas State over Nebraska.
The Bobcats are giving Hornsby the inside track to its starting quarterback job in 2023. The Huskers were recruiting Hornsby as a wide receiver. He played both positions at Arkansas, but most of his reps came at quarterback the last three seasons.
