Texas ILB Dylan Rogers commits to Nebraska
Nebraska hauled in its fourth defensive commitment in the past two weeks on Tuesday, landing inside linebacker Dylan Rogers from Cypress (Texas) Cy Woods.
The three-star recruit had recently named a top-six list of finalists that consisted of NU, Texas, Colorado, Kansas State, Missouri, and Houston.
Rogers joined the Huskers’ recruiting class shortly after taking an official visit to Lincoln last month. Between visiting Nebraska and committing to the Huskers, he also took an unofficial visit to Texas.

Rogers becomes the 13th known commitment in Nebraska’s 2023 class and the fifth defensive recruit with Dwight Bootle, Van Poppel, Hayden Moore and Maverick Noonan. He is also the second defensive recruit from the state of Texas, joining Riley Van Poppel from Argyle.
The Huskers see Rogers playing the MIKE/WILL position in their defense. Rogers measured in at 6-foot-3 and 232 pounds while on his official visit to NU. Nebraska sees Rogers and Moore both playing the inside linebacker positions.
