Utah transfer point guard Rollie Worster commits to Nebraska
Nebraska has been searching for a true point guard, and it found one of the most experienced options in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Utah graduate transfer Rollie Worster announced his commitment to the Huskers on Monday afternoon. The decision came days after visiting Lincoln this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 204-pounder has one season of eligibility remaining.
Worster has been a fixture at Utah over the past three years. He started all 76 games he played for the Runnin’ Utes, but a lower leg injury limited him to just 16 appearances this year. He averaged 9.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game before his campaign ended in early January.

In his last healthy season in 2022-23, Worster ranked second in the Pac-12 and 30th nationally with a 2.61 assist-to-turnover ratio. That included 5.1 assists per game during conference play and three outings with double-digit assists.

A native of Missoula, Montana, Worster was a two-time Montana Gatorade Player of the Year at Hellgate High School. He committed to Utah State in 2020 and started 25 games to help lead the Aggies to the NCAA Tournament.
Worster then followed head coach Craig Smith – a former NU assistant under Tim Miles – to Utah in 2021-22. He started 101 games over his four seasons with Smith.
Nebraska currently has five available scholarships for the 2024-25 season. The Huskers are still awaiting a decision from starting center Rienk Mast, who is debating a return to NU or turning pro.
