The NCAA Transfer Portal has changed the landscape of college football recruiting and roster management. While Nebraska lost some players to the portal this offseason, it’s also picked up some important newcomers.

After 25 departures and 14 additions, the Huskers currently stand at 43rd in the country and ninth in the Big Ten per the On3 Transfer Portal Top 300 rankings. The losses included one four-star (linebacker Ernest Hausmann) and 20 three-stars, while all 14 incoming transfers were three-star players.
