Three Notre Dame football players were named among the 44 On3’s Ari Wasserman included on his way-too-early 2025 All-American teams this week. Wasserman put junior running back Jeremiyah Love on his first team while senior offensive guard Billy Schrauth and sophomore cornerback Leonard Moore made Wasserman’s second team.

Of those three, Moore got the most national notoriety in the form of postseason accolades when he was named a freshman All-American by every reputable outlet. He was not a Notre Dame defensive starter to begin the 2024 season, but he took on that role after former freshman All-American Benjamin Morrison was lost with a season-ending injury.

Love is one of the best players in the nation, meanwhile. He shares reps with other players in a talented Notre Dame backfield. If he had higher volume, he’d have a higher chance of winning postseason awards, but he stays fresh by not taking as many hits and by way of that he produces some of the best highlights of any running back in the country.

Schrauth is a sneaky pick to be among the nation’s best offensive linemen by the end of the upcoming season. He’s yet to start a season from beginning to end. He’s looking to do so for the first time at Notre Dame as a senior.

Here are Wasserman’s entire way-too-early first and second teams.

First team offense

Wasserman on Love: “Did you see Love’s sensational two-yard touchdown run at the end of the Penn State game in the College Football Playoff semifinals? That is who Love is. The craziest part? He was banged up during Notre Dame’s postseason run. Love returns next year after rushing for 1,125 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns, making him one of the biggest returning impact players in the sport.”
