Last summer, Notre Dame offered Wayne (Ohio) High wide receiver Jamier Brown, Harper Woods (Mich.) High wide receiver Dakota Guerrant and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy cornerback Larry Moon after seeing each prospect stand out at its prospect camps.

And prior to a couple weeks ago, those were the only three offers the Irish had out in the 2027 class. Notre Dame offered over 90 total players for Pot of Gold Day — a high, high majority of those prospects announced the news on Monday, while a few others posted theirs a few days early.

So, what’s the breakdown of where Notre Dame was offering these players? What interesting data is there to take away from it all? Before we dive into it, a few notes:

1. It’s a tedious exercise, so forgive me if I miscounted here and there. 2. I went with where the recruits are currently playing their high school ball, not where they’re originally from. 3. This won’t be perfectly accurate in terms of positions because I’m going off what they’re listed on their On3 profiles, while the Irish may be recruiting the prospects at different spots.

Now let’s get into it.
