Different broadcast team to call Notre Dame vs. Ohio State
For its biggest game of the season so far, Notre Dame fans will listen to a different announcing team on NBC and Peacock than they’re used to.
NBC’s crew of Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst), Kathryn Tappen (sideline reporter) and Terry McAulay (rules analyst) will have the call from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend. Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play), Jason Garrett (analyst) and Zora Stephenson, whom the network typically assigns to Fighting Irish games, will call Maryland at Michigan State at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in East Lansing, Mich. on NBC and Peacock.
Eagle called the Fighting Irish in their Week 0 win over Navy in Dublin, Ireland, with Collinsworth out sick and unable to make the trip. Neither Blackledge nor Tappen have worked an Irish game yet this season. McAulay provided rules analysis for the Navy game, as well as the Irish win over Central Michigan in Week 3.
Here’s how to watch Notre Dame face Ohio State on Saturday.
