How to watch Notre Dame football game vs. UNLV
It’s that time on the 2022 Notre Dame football schedule. Time to hit reactivate on those Peacock subscriptions or take the plunge and sign up for one, that is. Or make sure an existing one is signed in on your TV.
Saturday’s game vs. UNLV is the one Notre Dame game where a $4.99-per-month Peacock premium subscription is required to watch it. NBC, the Irish’s usual TV channel for their home games, will not be carrying live coverage Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. ET. Peacock’s coverage will begin with a 30-minute pregame show at 2 p.m.
Anyone with an Xfinity cable subscription already has Peacock included in their TV package and does not need to sign up again. Spectrum and Cox cable subscribers can get Peacock at no additional cost for a limited time.
This isn’t the first rodeo with Peacock for Irish fans. The April 23 Blue-Gold Game was streamed exclusively on Peacock premium, as was the Sept. 11, 2021 matchup with Toledo. Peacock also streamed the 2021 Blue-Gold Game, but at no charge for fans to watch. NBC has used it to televise games in many of its other sports properties, from Premier League soccer games to motorsports to MLB Sunday Leadoff.
Peacock has also streamed the NBC broadcast of Notre Dame’s first four games on the network and will do the same for the Irish’s Nov. 5 contest vs. Clemson and home finale vs. Boston College.
Jac Collinsworth, a 2017 Notre Dame graduate, is the play-by-play announcer. Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is the color analyst, and Zora Stephenson is the sideline reporter. That trio will be the announcing crew for all seven NBC game broadcasts this season.

Former Irish running back Kyren Williams will be on the halftime set as a guest analyst, NBC announced Thursday. He will be joined by ex-UNLV backup quarterback and former longtime ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne and host Kathryn Tappen.
NBC has invited a prominent football alum from each team to be part of the halftime show this season. Defensive tackle Chris Zorich (1987-90), defensive end Justin Tuck (2001-04) and linebacker Manti Te’o (2009-12) and tight end Cole Kmet (2017-19) were the first four Notre Dame representatives on the halftime set.
