No. 6 Notre Dame takes on No. 19 Army in an elimination game for the College Football Playoff. Blue & Gold will have live updates throughout the night.

The following updates will be in reverse chronological order, with the most recent events at the top of the page and the ones that preceded them at the bottom.

SCORE: Aneyas Williams becomes third Notre Dame player to score on the ground, makes it 49-7

11/23/2024 08:56:04 PM

Stop, stop, they’re already dead dot gif. The freshman from Hannibal, Missouri scores from 58 yards out.

SCORE: Jadarian Price has his second of the day, Notre Dame leads 42-7

11/23/2024 08:36:42 PM

Price is up to 10 carries for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns, cutting outside and scoring to put the Irish up by 35.

SCORE: Love strikes a third time and the rout is on

11/23/2024 08:07:35 PM

Jeremiyah Love found a seam on the left side. When that happens, you’re not catching him. Army certainly isn’t. Love went 68 yards on the first play of the second half, and Notre Dame leads 35-7.

HIGHLIGHT: Notre Dame forces a fumble against Daily, takes over for one last score

11/23/2024 07:39:32 PM

Leonard Moore got the ball out and Jack Kiser recovered. Notre Dame can stretch its lead to 24 or 28 as it takes over in Black Knight territory.

SCORE: Jadarian Price punches it in for a 28-7 lead

11/23/2024 07:35:46 PM

Notre Dame does what it couldn’t do earlier and scores at the goal line, and this time, it was Jadarian Price’s turn. His short-yardage touchdown turned the game into a rout.

SCORE: Love is all Notre Dame needs and the Irish lead 21-7

11/23/2024 07:15:26 PM

Love carried three times for 41 yards as the Irish stretched their lead back to two touchdowns. In prime time, this may be the best game so far for the sophomore running back from St. Louis.

SCORE: Army cuts the lead to 14-7 on Bryson Daily touchdown run

The Black Knights marched down the field on a 12-play, 75-yard drive that took 7:37 off the clock. Quarterback Bryson Daily finished it off with a 4-yard touchdown run. Penalties on Jaylen Sneed (offside) and Rylie Mills (illegal hands to the face) did not help Notre Dame’s cause, especially because they occurred on fourth and third down, respectively.

SCORE: Jeremiyah Love goes airborne for 14-0 lead

11/23/2024 06:33:01 PM

Facing third-and-goal, Leonard tossed a flat route to Jeremiyah Love. He leaped over the lone Army defender in the area and into the end zone. Frankly, he could have leaped over two Army defenders. Notre Dame is up by two touchdowns.

HIGHLIGHT: Bryce Young blocks Army’s punt, Notre Dame takes over with first-and-goal

11/23/2024 06:29:49 PM

That’s Bryce Young’s first blocked punt and third block overall this season. He got awfully close on a few of these last week. He reached over the personal protector and got this one with his 6-foot-7 frame. Young has been a terror on special teams this season.

SCORE: Jordan Faison finds the end zone, Notre Dame leads 7-0

11/23/2024 06:21:52 PM

Taking a shot on second-and-short, Riley Leonard hit Jordan Faison for a 28-yard touchdown. The Irish marched methodically down the field, never facing third down and taking an early lead.

Notre Dame has won the toss and elected to defer

11/23/2024 06:14:58 PM

The Black Knights will start with the football.
