A week ago today on Jan. 20, Notre Dame had one of its biggest recruiting events of the calendar year, welcoming over 20 prospects to campus — 11 of whom are already committed to the Fighting Irish. The recruits have been posting pictures and video on social media from the visit.

Below is a look at a handful of those tweets and Instagram posts. They’re listed in no specific order.

The first tweet is from Lucedale (Miss.) George County quarterback and Irish commit Deuce Knight, who is poting with Atlanta Woodward Academy wide receiver Jerome Bettis Jr. They’ve been on a couple visits together now, and Knight would love if the son of ND legend Jerome Bettis Sr. joined him on the Notre Dame commit list.

Highland Home (Ala.) High and Irish EDGE commit C.J. May was back in South Bend. Many of the prospects were rocking the green jersey and white pants combo during the visit. Could it be a sign of a uniform combination to come? Possibly. But it’s my understanding that the prospects pick what they want to wear and it necessarily doesn’t reflect what the program has cooking for combos in the future. But we shall see. It does look sharp.

The Instagram post below pictures Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange class of 2025 defensive back Ivan Taylor, who committed to the Irish Dec. 1. It was his fifth overall trip to South Bend.

One of the top overall recruits on campus was Virginia native Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, who currently attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The elite class of 2025 linebacker prospect took his first trip to South Bend. He’s the younger brother of ex-Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who currently stars for the Cleveland Browns.

Notre Dame offered Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic class of 2025 wideout Elijah Burress Jan. 11, and nine days later, the fast-rising playmaker made a trip out to South Bend. Burress is a name to keep a close eye on moving forward for Irish nation.

And below is Burress and Bettis pictured on the left, with their fathers — who played together with the Steelers — in the second image.

Miami Palmetto defensive lineman and Notre Dame commit Davion Dixon tweeted out a video from his visit.

Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit running back and Irish commit Justin Thurman put together his own unique video from his experience in South Bend last weekend.
