Former Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison has scheduled his private workout, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Morrison, who picked off 9 passes during his three seasons in South Bend, will do a “positional workout” (Schefter’s words) in front of NFL teams on April 21 at his high school alma mater, Phoenix Brophy College Prep. He skipped the NFL Scouting Combine and Notre Dame’s Pro Day due to the midseason hip surgery that ended his final season in South Bend after just six games.

Morrison is a projected Day 2 draft pick; most believe he will be selected in the late second or early third round. He was a projected first-round pick before his hip injury.

In just three years with the Irish, Morrison transformed what it meant to be a cornerback in a blue-and-gold uniform. He burst onto the scene with 6 interceptions as a true freshman, and he remained an elite cover corner until his career ended prematurely in October.

The 2025 NFL Draft begins April 24.

Quote of the day

“It’s completely transformed what Jaylen Sneed can be. It’s transformed his ceiling. It’s made him into really what I think he’s viewed himself as his whole life. And that’s as good as it gets.”

— Notre Dame linebackers coach Max Bullough on Sneed gaining 10-plus pounds to move up to 232
