Newsstand: Top measurements for Notre Dame commits and target at On3 Elite Series

Two Notre Dame commits and one major target in the 2025 recruiting class attended the On3 Elite Series this week in Nashville, and they posted some of the most impressive measurements of any prospect at the event.
Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall offensive tackle Will Black, the No. 52 player and No. 6 OT in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, stood 6-foot-7 1/2, 283 pounds with 34 1/4-inch arms and 9 3/4-inch hands. If that arm length sounds familiar, the Notre Dame commit’s arms are exactly the same length as former Irish left tackle Joe Alt’s.
The other Irish commit in attendance, Lucedale (Miss.) George County quarterback Deuce Knight, checked in at 6-foot-4 1/2, 208 pounds with 9 3/4-inch hands. The No. 54 player and No. 7 signal-caller in the On3 Industry Ranking would have been the second-tallest quarterback at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, behind only Tennessee’s Joe Milton.
And finally, Irish target JaDon Blair is a freak at safety. The Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor rising senior measured in at 6-foot-4 1/2, 195 pounds with 33-inch arms. He would have been the tallest defensive back at this year’s Combine, and his arm length is identical to former Notre Dame cornerback Cam Hart‘s.
