With just 50 days until National Signing Day, where does Notre Dame stand in the 2023 On3 Consensus Football Team Recruiting Rankings?

As of the morning of Nov. 1, the Fighting Irish have the No. 3 class in the country, trailing only Alabama and Georgia, respectively. Ohio State and LSU trail the Irish to round out the top five, also respectively.

Of Notre Dame’s 23 commits, 20 rank as four-star prospects, and the Irish have one On3 Consensus five-star commit — Denton (Texas) Guyer’s Peyton Bowen.

It’ll be tough for Notre Dame to hold the No. 3 spot, but a top-five class seems like an obtainable goal for the Irish. Keeping Bowen will be key for Notre Dame to do that, and they’ll need to snag more talented prospects as well. The Fighting Irish haven’t signed a top-five class since 2013.

The On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking is the only ranking that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies: On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. It equally weighs the four media companies at 25 percent.

Below is a look at the top seven schools in the recruiting rankings.
