The 2022 NFL Combine is underway in Indianapolis, and Notre Dame has five players set to take the field less than two months away from the NFL Draft.

Day 1 of drills will feature quarterback Jack Coan and wide receiver Kevin Austin. The tight ends will also go today, but Notre Dame does not have any tight ends participating.

Keep it here for live updates throughout the day.

Here are a few preview articles from BlueandGold.com’s Patrick Engel:

Measurements for Coan and Austin

Coan:

Height/weight: 6’3″, 218 pounds
Arms: 31 1/8″
Hands: 9 1/2″

3-cone drill: 6.95 seconds
Short shuttle: 4.39 seconds

A hand size of 9 1/2″ or larger is considered ideal for an NFL quarterback, and Coan hit that mark. Of the quarterbacks, Desmond Ridder has the largest hands (10″). Pickett’s are the smallest at 8 1/2″.

Coan is tied with Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett and Nevada’s Carson Strong for the second-tallest quarterback participating in the combine. They are listed at 6’3″.

Austin:

Height/weight: 6’2″, 200 pounds
Arms: 32 7/8″
Hands: 9″

3-cone drill: 6.71 seconds
Short shuttle: 4.15 seconds

Austin was close to 33″ in his arms measurement. Seven wide receivers at the NFL Combine eclipsed the 33″ mark.
