The signatures of NFL legacy recruits have paid dividends for Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman and general manager Chad Bowden. Since Freeman and Bowden joined the program in 2021 as defensive coordinator and defensive director of recruiting, the Fighting Irish have signed three prospects who are the sons of NFL players. So, considering Freeman and Bowden's past success recruiting NFL legacy prospects, they should target more in future cycles. Here are six names in the 2026 and 2027 cycles that should be on the program's radar.
