Notre Dame at Stanford to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on the Pac-12 Network
Notre Dame will close out its regular season in prime time at Stanford. The Irish and Cardinal will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 25 in Palo Alto, Calif., the Pac-12 announced Monday morning.
The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. It will likely be the last telecast in the history of said network.
With Stanford located on the west coast, the matchup will kick off at 4 p.m. local time.
Notre Dame is currently 7-3, and the Irish are heavily favored to be 8-3 when they travel to northern California. They’re currently favored over Wake Forest, whom they face at 3:30 p.m. ET this coming Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, by 25 points. That’s according to Sportsbook Wire.
Stanford is 3-7, already eliminated from bowl contention, and the Cardinal will take on California on Saturday. One of two historical west-coast Irish rivals, the other being USC, Stanford has wins over Hawai’i, Colorado and Washington State this season. The Cardinal have lost to USC, Sacramento State (Football Championship Subdivision or FCS), Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Washington and Oregon State.
Their game against the Huskies, who were at the time and still are the No. 5 team in the country, was much closer than expected, as Stanford kept it within single digits at 42-33. However, the Cardinals’ resume also features blowout Pac-12 losses of 46 points (USC), 36 points (Oregon), 35 points (UCLA) and 45 points (Oregon State).
Stanford is in Year 1 of a new era in Palo Alto, with Troy Taylor wrapping up his first season as head coach. He came over from Sacramento State, succeeding longtime head coach David Shaw.

Taylor took over a roster gutted by the transfer portal, but the team is about as competitive as it was last season — which is to say not very, with a couple surprisingly close games and an upset or two mixed in. Last year, that upset was over Notre Dame.
The Cardinal defeated the Irish 16-14 on Oct. 15, 2022, in a stunning upset at Notre Dame Stadium. That loss dropped the Irish to 3-3 at the time.
This will be Notre Dame’s fifth night game of the season, at least as far as South Bend time is concerned. It will be the Irish’s first prime-time game since they played a stretch of four in a row in September and October, against Ohio State, Duke, Louisville and USC, respectively.
Notre Dame went 2-2 in those games, beating Duke at home and USC on the road. The Irish lost to Ohio State at home and Louisville on the road.
