What Freeman is saying

**Keep refreshing this page for real-time, written updates of what Freeman is saying.**

• Notre Dame players of the game vs. Indiana: Jordan Faison (offense), Jordan Faison (defense), Xavier Watts (Defense).

• Injury updates: OL Rocco Spindler is questionable, LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is questionable and defensive tackle Rylie Mills is out for the season. That last nugget is brutal for Notre Dame.

• Freeman says Georgia QB Gunner Stockton is an ultra competitor. He doesn’t view the Georgia offense much differently with Stockton in as opposed to Carson Beck.

• Freeman: “You can’t replace Rylie Mills. Yes, the production. But the leadership… You feel awful for him.”

• Freeman says he always believes in an attacking style of special teams play, and Marty Biagi embodies that too.

• Freeman says Max Bullough has done a wonderful job getting the Notre Dame linebackers to rotate in and out all year.

• Freeman says Jagusah has not been practicing much. This will be his first full week of practice. He’s not sure which position Jagusah will rep at quite yet.

• Freeman jokes it was a good thing Jeremiyah Love kept his clothes on in pregame warmups with his flu-like symptoms, “unlike some of those wideouts.” Freeman says there was nothing that was keeping Love from playing in that first-round playoff game.

• Bryce Young is fine after being shaken up against Indiana, and Freeman is expecting another big game from the freshman defensive end.

• Freeman on the recruitment and signing of Leonard Moore: “When Mike Mickens wants somebody, I trust Mike Mickens.”
