Notre Dame doesn’t have an On3 five-star prospect yet, but they’re actually close to having two.

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South’s Cam Williams does rank as a five-star player per the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. But no individual site ranks him as a five-star yet.

But in On3’s update Monday morning, he inched closer to five-star status, moving up from No. 28 to No. 24 in the national rankings. He’s also the No. 5 receiver in America.

And West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial’s Guerby Lambert is now the highest-ranked four-star player nationally per On3 and moved from No. 29 to No. 21 in Monday’s update. He’s the No. 4 offensive tackle in the land.

On3 has a total of 32 five-star players by the end of every recruiting class, and if Lambert and Williams are to hold their current spots by the end of the cycle, then they’ll both rank as five-stars.

The Irish’s third top-50 overall player in the 2024 class is Charlotte (N.C.) Christian’s Bryce Young, who On3 has always been high on. Young moved from No. 121 to No. 49 in the national rankings and from No. 11 to No. 6 in the EDGE positional rankings.

Lufkin (Texas) High running back Kedren Young has an unchanged national ranking, remaining as the No. 72 prospect in America. He’s the No. 4 player at his position in the land.

Roswell (Ga.) High offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp ranks as a three-star everywhere except at On3, and Knapp continued his climb in On3’s top-300 Monday. He’s now the No. 143 player in the nation, up 46 spots from his previous ranking.

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian’s Micah Gilbert saw a very healthy rise, and On3 ranks him highest by far. He was the No. 246 player in America and is now the No. 156 overall prospect. Gilbert is the No. 28 receiver nationally, up 15 spots from his previous On3 positional ranking.

On3 ranks Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa lowest among the four rankings websites, but he’s continuing his climb. He’s up 36 spots to No. 166 in America.

And one spot below Viliamu-Asa in the national rankings is Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward EDGE Loghan Thomas, who moved down six spots.

On3’s ranking of Saline (Mich.) High’s CJ Carr has generated much discussion for several months, as it has ranked him lowest for a majority of the 2024 cycle. And he did move down 15 spots following his senior season and now ranks as the No. 208 player in America. Carr is the No. 15 passer in the land.

Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern Styles Prescod checks in as the No. 213 overall prospect and No. 12 interior offensive lineman in America. No other website ranks him in their national rankings.

Salinas (Calif.) Palma receiver Logan Saldate saw a big move, going from a three-star prospect to a four-star and the No. 288 overall prospect in the country.

Notre Dame has 11 commits inside the 2024 On300 with Monday‘s update.
