Newsstand: Where Notre Dame ranks among most expensive college game day experiences
A website called Oddspedia put together a study on the most and least expensive college game day experiences and did so with information from “500 sources on the prices of tickets, parking, beers, sodas and hotdogs for 100 of the top NCAA Division 1 football programs across the United States” according to its website.
In the 2023 report, Notre Dame had the most expensive game day when considering the average of five factors above (two tickets, two beers, two sodas, two hotdogs plus parking). ND’s average was $285 — highest in the country per Oddspedia.
Interestingly enough, Notre Dame dropped a good bit in the 2024 report. The Fighting Irish football game day experience is down to $243.96, which is 8th highest in the country. UCLA has the most expensive game day at $298.
When it comes to just average ticket prices alone, Notre Dame is tied for ninth-highest nationally at $160 for two tickets.

Quote of the day
“Arm talent — it’s not even close. He can make any throw on the field, and it looks easy. When this year’s offense builds chemistry, it’s going to be a well-oiled machine with Noah’s elite arm talent. They’ll be hopefully competing for a state title.”
