On Monday, the Notre Dame football communications team released its detailed injury report ahead of Saturday’s Week 3 matchup against Purdue.

The most notable update is that junior defensive lineman Joshua Burnham is questionable after suffering an ankle injury against Northern Illinois. The other addition to the report is that graduate student offensive lineman Tosh Baker is out for the game with a shoulder injury, which prevented him from suiting up Saturday.

Freeman said Burnham went out on the last play with an ankle sprain but he has made progress in the last 48 hours. Burnham played 54 out of 65 snaps and finished with 4 tackles, including 1 for loss.

Meanwhile, sophomore wide receiver Jordan Faison is no longer on the injury report despite being absent from the depth chart. Faison injured his right ankle in the second quarter of the Texas A&M game and did not return. However, he told coach Marcus Freeman during the game that it would not sideline him long, and he was right. On Monday, Freeman confirmed Faison will return for the Purdue game.

Besides Burnham, Notre Dame did not detail any other injuries from the NIU game.
