Newsstand: Two-sport Notre Dame star Jordan Faison named preseason All-America in lacrosse

The publication Inside Lacrosse has high expectations for Notre Dame football player Jordan Faison as he enters his second season on the Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team. 

On Thursday, Inside Lacrosse announced its 2025 Nike Lacrosse Preseason Men’s DI Media All-Americans and Faison, a midfielder, was named to the third team. He was one of nine Notre Dame players to earn recognition.

Last season, Faison’s first with the Irish, he helped them repeat as national champions. He started all 17 games, scoring 22 goals and adding 8 assists. For his efforts, Inside Lacrosse named him an All-America honorable mention.

Faison is less than three weeks removed from helping the Notre Dame football program reach the national championship game. He caught 30 passes for 356 yards and 1 touchdown during his sophomore campaign.

The Irish men’s lacrosse team starts its season on Feb. 12 against Cleveland State.
