ESPN NFL draft analyst Jordan Reid updated his 2025 NFL Draft rankings to feature the top 50 draftable prospects following the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl. Reid ranked former Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison as the No. 41 overall player and No. 5 cornerback.

“Morrison is a technician, as his excellent hand timing and ability to turn and run with receivers makes him one of the best press corners in the class,” Reid said. “He has elite ball production, with nine career interceptions, and he rarely has trouble with sudden route runners.

“Morrison gets himself in trouble by pulling and grabbing receivers who are changing directions. He also needs to add bulk and has a concerning injury history, undergoing shoulder surgery in March and sustaining a hip injury in October.

Before the season, Morrison was widely viewed as a potential first-round pick. However, his hip injury has caused concern. In about three weeks, he will have the chance to put those concerns to bed by showcasing his health to teams during his NFL Combine physical.

Reid did not rank any other Irish players in the top 50, but he did list Xavier Watts as his No. 3 safety in the positional rankings.
