Notre Dame offers No. 1 player in 2024, QB Jadyn Davis
While Notre Dame is still working on its 2023 quarterback board, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees is getting a head start on the 2024 class.
The Irish already had four quarterback offers out, and that number grew to five on Tuesday night, as to Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School’s Jadyn Davis announced that he received an offer from Notre Dame.
Davis is the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 class according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
With that ranking, Davis is obviously also the No. 1 quarterback in his grade and top prospect from North Carolina.
On3 has not done its own national rankings for the 2024 class yet, but it has handed out prospect grades to some of the elite players in the cycle. Davis is one of 18 players who received a grade of 91 out of 100.
Notre Dame also has 2024 quarterback offers out to Chandler (Ariz.) High’s Dylan Raiola (No. 14 player nationally) and Carlsbad (Calif.) High’s Julian Sayin (No. 19), who rank as America’s No. 2 and 3 signal-callers, respectively.
Opa Locke (Fla.) Monsignor Pace’s Adrian Posse and Saline (Mich.) High’s CJ Carr, who are both unranked, are also 2024 quarterbacks who report scholarship offers from the Notre Dame.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
The On3 Recruiting Prediciton Machine currently favors Ohio State for Davis at 76.0%.
Ohio State, North Carolina, Penn State, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida State, Notre Dame Oregon and Oklahoma are among the offers for the four-star recruit.
The 6-0, 175-pounder spent his first two high school seasons at Catawba Ridge (S.C.) High but elected to transfer to Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School over winter break. He’ll be coached by Chad Grier.
Grier is the father of former West Virginia star quarterback Will Grier, whom the elder Grier helped develop into a two-time North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year as his coach at the high school level.
In nine games as a sophomore, Davis completed 140 of 257 attempts for 1,732 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also added five rushing scores.
Davis has an On3 NIL Valuation of $71,000, which ranks 21st among high school football players. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
