FIVE NAVY PLAYERS TO KNOW

QB Xavier Arline (7): Navy lost starter Tai Lavatai for the season in late October and turned to Arline, who attempted one pass in last week’s loss to Cincinnati. He is averaging 5.0 yards per carry on 38 attempts. If Navy needs to throw, look for Maasai Maynor to come in for Arline.

FB Daba Fofana (45): The sophomore fullback is Navy’s leading rusher, with 552 yards and 5 touchdowns. He is averaging only 3.9 yards per carry, though.

DE Jacob Busic (95): Navy’s leader in sacks, with 6, Busic also has 28 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

LB Colin Ramos (44): Ramos is second on the team with 57 tackles and also has 2 sacks. He is Navy’s highest-graded defensive player, per Pro Football Focus.

LB/S John Marshall (1): The senior leads Navy with 72 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 7 passes broken up and 6 quarterback hurries. He ranks second in sacks (5). He plays the “striker” position, a hybrid linebacker/safety spot.
