LOOK: Elite 2025 QB Deuce Knight on his Notre Dame visit
Notre Dame has a huge recruiting weekend lined up, with its annual “grill and chill” event on Sunday. But the biggest visitor of the month might already be on campus.
On Thursday morning, Lucedale (Miss.) George County’s Deuce Knight arrived at Notre Dame for a visit. He got to watch some of practice, tour the facilities, meet with the Irish coaches and more.
And of course, Knight had a photoshoot in a Notre Dame uniform, and he didn’t just have his pictures taken in the locker room. He went up at the top of Notre Dame stadium and got a picture with the Heisman trophy, which can be seen in the tweet below.
Knight scheduled the trip to Notre Dame earlier this month and told Blue & Gold what he was looking forward to about the trip.
“My mom didn’t come on the first visit, so I’m bringing her up this time,” Knight said. “I want her to see the place and get around the coaching staff, and I’m just looking forward to getting around the staff again because of how good of people they are.”

Knight has previously said that he doesn’t have a commitment timeline. Whenever the elite passer gets that “feeling” of which school he knows he should pick, then he’ll lock in that decision.
Notre Dame is hoping that he gets that feeling during his South Bend visit.
“This is a very important trip to me because Notre Dame is one of my top schools, and the one I haven’t been back up to see,” Knight said. “So after this visit, I can hopefully weigh my options then eventually make a decision soon.”
According to the On3 visit center, Knight has been to Ole Miss six times and Tennessee four times. He camped at Alabama in June and earned an offer from the Crimson Tide. While Knight has not formally announced a group of top schools, those three SEC programs along with the Irish make up the programs that look to be at the top for him.
Knight visits Ole Miss on Friday.
On3’s own rankings list Knight as the No. 28 overall player and No. 4 quarterback in America.
The Irish already have two class of 2025 commitments, coming from Miami Palmetto defensive lineman Davion Dixon and Washington (Okla.) High tight end Nate Roberts.
Deuce Knight visited Notre Dame for the first time in April.
