Washington (Okla.) High class of 2025 tight end Nate Roberts will come off the board Saturday afternoon.

The four-star prospect tells Blue & Gold that he’ll announce his commitment June 17 at 1 p.m. ET. Earlier this month, Roberts narrowed his recruitment down to the following 12 schools: Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame, Baylor, Clemson, Miami, Penn State, Michigan, Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

“I am thankful for each opportunity, however, at this point I will focus on the following schools going forward,” Roberts said in his top schools announcement.

Oklahoma and Baylor are considered the top two programs for Roberts, respectively, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Roberts visited Notre Dame in mid-April and loved his experience in South Bend.

“The campus is the most beautiful campus I’ve ever seen,” he said. “We got to see everything. It had that old-time feel, but it all looks brand new. I’m in love with the campus. Notre Dame’s campus just fits me well.

“I loved all of the coaches. They treated me like I’m already family. Coach [Marty] Biagi was our main guy; he showed us all around campus Friday. He’s the best guy you can ask for. We’ve known him from North Texas [where Biagi previously coached and Roberts’ older brother played].

“Coach [Gino] Guidugli, I love him. He recruited me when he was the tight ends coach at Wisconsin. He offered me there. He’s another big part of my recruitment, and we have a really good relationship.”
