Notre Dame included in 2026 four-star QB Noah Grubbs’ top schools
Notre Dame has its 2025 quarterback commit Deuce Knight and is in search of who could be its signal-caller for the 2026 cycle. Lake Mary (Fla.) High’s Noah Grubbs is certainly a name to keep an eye on.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Thursday afternoon that the four-star passer narrowed his list down to 10 schools. Auburn, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, UCF and Texas A&M are the programs Grubbs will be considering moving forward.
Grubbs, who ranks as the nation’s No. 113 overall prospect and No. 10 quarterback according to the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, earned his offer from Notre Dame last summer after throwing for position coach Gino Guidugli and Co. at their prospect camp. He returned to campus last September for the Ohio State game, and South Bend trip No. 3 occurred March 22.
“My visit to Notre Dame was one I’ll never forget,” Grubbs told Blue & Gold about his most recent ND visit. “I know I sound repetitive when I say that, but it’s true. Notre Dame is a place every recruit should experience. From the facilities, to coaches, to campus life to the bookstores and restaurants surrounding the campus to the former players’ houses — it’s incredible.

“The highlight for me was getting to spend uninterrupted, quality time with the coaches, specifically with Coach [Marcus] Freeman, Coach [Gino] Guidugli and Coach [Mike] Denbrock. They all told me to my face as well as my parents that I am their top guy and that they are ready for me to commit. I know there are others on their board they are excited about and one of them just committed to Georgia [Jared Curtis], and the other is a good friend of mine that I train with back home with Baylin [Trujillo] — Brady Hart from Cocoa.
“I was just blown away with what Notre Dame has to offer both on the field and in my career past football. I also had a solid conversation with Sam Hartman, and that was great because I heard all the great things coming from someone who lived what I am trying to do.
“The whole trip was genuine and felt like home.”
During his 12-game sophomore season, Grubbs completed 208 of 354 passes for 3,670 yards with 49 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He added 4 touchdowns on the ground as well.
