On300 RB Chase Enlow breaks down Saturday Notre Dame visit
Notre Dame had a handful of prospects on campus Saturday that coincided with having its fourth practice of spring football. Several 2025 commits, a dozen or so targets in the 2025 and 2026 classes and a few prospects hoping for an offer from Notre Dame made it to South Bend.
Princeton (N.J.) Hun School class of 2026 running back Chase Enlow currently fits in the third group, but it’s obviously very early in his recruitment as a high school sophomore. The Notre Dame staff has interest in the 5-10, 190 pounder and was able to show him around the university.
“Overall, the visit was great,” Enlow told Blue & Gold after the visit. “It was a great experience and really eye-opening to what it’s like to be a part of a program like Notre Dame. This visit only adds to my motivation to be able to play for a program like that one day. A highlight of the visit honestly were the facilities.”
Notre Dame held practice Saturday morning, which Enlow got to catch some of.
“I wasn’t there for most of the practice because we went on a campus tour,” he continued. “From what I saw, they focus on details and perfecting the small things. The energy was high and everyone was hyped during one of their mini scrimmages.”
Enlow, who ranks as the nation’s No. 250 overall prospect and No. 24 running back, plus the No. 2 player from New Jersey, per the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, got the opportunity to meet Notre Dame running backs coach Deland McCullough for the first time.

“We had a good conversation about how recruiting was going for me and other small talk,” Enlow added. “I really look forward to building our relationship in the future.”
It’s early between the two parties. Again, the Irish staff hasn’t extended an offer to Enlow just yet. But there’s plenty of time for that to take place, and Enlow is excited to continue talking with the ND coaches.
“We are still building a relationship right now, so no potential offer was talked about,” he noted.
Rutgers, Boston College, Duke and Charlotte have already offered him. Enlow has visits scheduled with Maryland March 30, Virginia April 5 and Penn State April 9.
