Newsstand: Notre Dame LB commit Anthony Sacca pledges to play in All-American Bowl

Another recruit verbally committed to the Notre Dame football program will represent the Fighting Irish in the 2025 All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

On Sunday, Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep four-star linebacker Anthony Sacca announced he will play in the annual all-star game. The longtime Irish pledge will join fellow commits four-star offensive tackle Will Black from Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall and Chicago Simeon four-star EDGE Christopher Burgess Jr.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Sacca is the No. 291 overall player, No. 29 linebacker nationally and No. 9 prospect in Pennsylvania in the 2025 recruiting cycle. He committed to Notre Dame on March 30.

Through the first six games of his senior season, Sacca has 38 tackles (22 solo), 8 for loss, 2.5 sacks, 5 pass breakups and 1 forced fumble.
