Newsstand: Notre Dame commit Ben Nichols invited to Under Armour All-America Game

Notre Dame football verbal commit Ben Nichols will have the chance to showcase his talents against high school football’s top players in December.
Following his performance at the Under Armour Ohio Camp on Sunday, Nichols, a four-star offensive lineman from Davison (Mich.) High, earned an invitation to participate in the 2025 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Nichols competed at guard and tackle during Sunday’s camp at Pickerington (Ohio) North High School. He displayed his sturdy frame and college-ready size while facing some of the top defensive line recruits in the Midwest.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking — a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services — Nichols is the No. 4 player in Michigan, No. 20 interior offensive lineman and No. 272 overall player in the 2026 class. He pledged to the Irish on Dec. 24 over Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan State.
