Commit Tracker: Notre Dame QB pledge closes historic season with a loss in Week 17
Notre Dame 2026 class quarterback commit Noah Grubbs‘ historic season came to a close on Saturday. In a gutsy three-touchdown performance against Venice (Fla.) High, Lake Mary (Fla.) High fell 52-19 in the Florida 7A state championship. It was the first time in school history the Rams reached the finals — doing so in Sunshine State’s highest and most competitive classification.
Each week during this high school football season, Blue & Gold reported on how each Notre Dame Fighting Irish commit and their teams performed. In Week 17, only Grubbs and Matthews (N.C.) Weddington linebacker Thomas Davis Jr. remained alive in postseason play. Here is how they fared in their Dec. 13 and 14 games in Blue & Gold’s final “commit tracker” of 2024.
