While the Notre Dame football program waits to bolster the wide receiver position in the 2025 cycle, four-star cornerback Mark Zackery continues to prove he’s capable of playing offense at the next level. On Friday, the Indianapolis Ben Davis senior charted the fourth 100-yard receiving game within the last two seasons.

Each week during this high school football season, Blue & Gold will report on how each Notre Dame commit and their teams perform during the 2024 football season.

Here is how 19 Notre Dame commits that competed in Week 5 fared.

Three-star RB Daniel Anderson

Bryant (Ark.) High had a bye week.

Four-star OT Matty Augustine

Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School (2-0) beat Salisbury (Conn.) Salisbury School (1-1) 34-14. Augustine and Brunswick O-line helped pave the way for 189 rushing yards in the win.

Three-star WR Jerome Bettis Jr. 

Notched an interception returned 79 yards for a touchdown, 3 receptions for 42 yards and another score and 2 tackles in College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy‘s (2-3) 35-14 win against Atlanta Chamblee Charter (0-5).

Next game: vs. Lithonia (Ga.) Arabia Mountain (1-4) Sept. 27.

Season stats: 5 games | 7 receptions, 187 yards, 1 TD | 16 tackles (10 solo), 1 interception, 1 forced fumble.

Four-star OT Will Black

Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall (1-0) beat Lawrenceville (N.J.) Lawrenceville School (2-1) 38-0. With the help of Black and the Choate Rosemary Hall O-line, its rushers recorded 163 yards.

Four-star S JaDon Blair

Brought in 3 passes for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns to go along 8 solo tackles, including 1 for loss, and a caused fumble in Winston-Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor‘s (3-1) 27-17 win over Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth (2-2).

Next game: at Winston-Salem (N.C.) Reynolds (2-2) Sept. 27.
