In a weekly YouTube live show at Blue & Gold, recruiting writers Kyle Kelly and Mike Singer give the latest on Notre Dame’s recruiting efforts.

The show begins with the guys discussing a non recruiting topic, which was Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt being picked by the Los Angeles Chargers with the No. 5 overall pick. Then, they discuss a half-dozen of the biggest prospects on campus for the Blue-Gold Game last week, some of the notable travels for the staff this week on the recruiting trail and more!

It is not a show to miss for Fighting Irish fans. Watch it in the video player above!

The show aired live on the Blue & Gold YouTube page Friday at 2:00 p.m. ET. Watch a replay of this week’s show in the video player above.

4-star WR Jayvan Boggs on Notre Dame visit: ‘Amazing visit’

A major wide receiver target for Notre Dame was in South Bend on Saturday.

Cocoa (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs visited the Irish and met with head coach Marcus Freeman.

Boggs, a onetime Ohio State commit, included the Irish in his list of seven finalists earlier this week. That list also includes UCFUSCGeorgiaMissouriTexas and Florida.

Both he and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman four-star receiver Derek Meadows are “key recruits at a position of need” for Notre Dame, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

“I loved my visit to South Bend! Amazing visit,” Boggs told On3. “Had great conversations with coaches and great culture up there overall. Notre Dame is a great place!”

Boggs also told On3 that he is planning an official visit to South Bend and may visit again ahead of that eventual trip.

“Of course the conversation I had with Coach Denbrock stood out to me the most and just how they’re building Notre Dame to something great stands out,” Boggs said.

Boggs already with 4 OVs scheduled

The 6-foot-0, 200-pound Boggs has already scheduled official visits to UCF (May 31), USC (June 7), Georgia (June 14) and Missouri (June 21).

Boggs is the nation’s No. 211 overall prospect, No. 26 wide receiver and No. 33 recruit from Florida in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“My recruitment is wide open again and I am hearing everyone out,” Boggs told On3 at the beginning of April. “Over the last few weeks, I talked things over with my parents and decided to back off the commitment to Ohio State, take official visits and find the best place for me.

Boggs is planning to make a final decision before his senior season.

“I want it to play out where I take my official visits, then decide in July or at the latest, in August,” Boggs added. “If I need to take it farther, I will, but I want to be set with the school before my senior season.

“When I commit this time, it will be set in stone and I will be shutting my recruitment down. After being committed to Ohio State, and opening things up, this next decision will be it for me.”
