2024 On3 Rankings Updates: A breakdown of where Notre Dame’s pledges stand
It’s time for another updated On3 rankings release. Seven weeks after the last 2024 On3 player rankings update, On3 director of scouting Charles Power, scouting and rankings assistant Cody Bellaire and their team have crafted a new On300. Here’s how Notre Dame’s 2024 verbal commits fared in Monday’s release.
Quarterback CJ Carr
Saline (Mich.) High junior passer CJ Carr jumped seven spots in the updated rankings. On3 previously ranked the 6-foot-2½, 195-pound Carr as the No. 200 overall player. Now, he sits at No. 193. He remains the No. 12 quarterback while climbing up one spot to the No. 3 prospect in Michigan.
Carr is coming off a junior season in which he completed 222 of 326 (68.1%) passes for 2,685 yards, 26 touchdowns and five interceptions in 11 games. He also added 221 rushing yards and seven scores on 70 carries. Carr still has a 91 rating.
Running back Aneyas Williams
The 5-10, 195-pound Aneyas Williams dropped eight spots, from No. 267 overall to 275. He also fell from the No. 18 running back to No. 21. Williams is now the No. 7 prospect in Missouri.
The Hannibal (Mo.) High product rushed for 1,362 yards and 27 touchdowns last season. He also caught 33 passes for 424 yards and seven touchdowns. Williams’ rating remains at 90.
Wide receiver Cam Williams
Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South High’s Cam Williams is still in elite company despite sliding down four spots. Williams went from No. 29 overall to No. 33. He is also the No. 7 wide receiver instead of No. 6. He remains the No. 2 player in Illinois.
The 6-2, 180-pound Williams caught 47 passes for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns in 11 games last fall. He kept his 96 rating.
Offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp
Nineteen days after verbally committing to Notre Dame, Anthonie Knapp has debuted in the On300. The Roswell (Ga.) High junior checks in as the No. 206 overall player, No. 12 interior offensive lineman and No. 25 prospect in Georgia.
On3 previously ranked the 6-4, 265-pound Knapp as the No. 563 overall player, No. 43 interior offensive lineman and No. 71 prospect in Georgia. His rating went up from 88 to 91.

The following Fighting Irish pledges did not make it within the top 300 recruits.

Cornerback Karson Hobbs
Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller’s Karson Hobbs is still looking to reach the top 300. His junior season featured 29 tackles (22 solo), 11 pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble across 15 games.
Cornerback Leonard Moore
Notre Dame’s latest commit, Round Rock (Texas) High’s Leonard Moore, must continue working toward an On300 ranking. However, he did have a respectable junior season, registering nine pass breakups, 31 tackles (20 solo), three interceptions, and two caused fumbles in 11 games.
