The competition between Notre Dame and Texas A&M did not stop when the clock hit triple zeroes at Kyle Field on Saturday night. Now, the battle has carried over onto the recruiting trail, specifically for four-star linebacker Tank King.  The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder from Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial is the No. 225 overall player and No. 20 linebacker in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. However, in On3’s rankings, he is the No. 78 overall player, No. 7 linebacker nationally and No. 9 prospect in Texas.  Simply said, King is one of the most coveted defenders in the class. His offer sheet reflects that.
