Mike Singer gives a defensive line recruiting update after Sevillano’s commitment
“Notre Dame has Sean Sevillano committed; he’s the fourth defensive line pledge of the class. You have Loghan Thomas, who committed last week. He’s a vyper at the next level. Bryce Young could be a vyper or strong side end at Notre Dame. Cole Mullins is one you take a flyer on, and I think he’s going to be pretty good for the Fighting Irish.
“From here on out, I really have my eyes just on two players. I think it’s Justin Scott, the five-star from Chicago St. Ignatius, and Elijah Rushing, the five-star out of Salpointe Catholic in Tuscon, Arizona. Rushing is officially visiting Notre Dame Dame this month, and you hope that Scott takes a trip to South Bend this summer. He’ll probably officially visit Notre Dame in September, so if you go from March to September without visiting, that’s six months. That worries you.
“But those are really the two to keep an eye on. They might offer more guys, but as of now, those are the two defensive linemen to keep an eye on.”
