It’s time for the Notre Dame football program to turn its attention toward the high school ranks — at least for a few days. The No. 14 Fighting Irish (4-1) are five games through the 2024 season and three days into its first bye week. The players should have some scheduled time off toward the end of it. As for the coaching staff? Not so much. Coach Marcus Freeman and Company plan to attack the recruiting trail to put the finishing touches on the 2025 recruiting class, which is one of 31 power conference programs with over 20 pledges. By the end of the week, they will have hoped to make progress toward bolstering it.
