Singer details new prediction of WR Jason Robinson to Notre Dame
“I think it’s been 20 years since Notre Dame has landed a player from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. It’s a USC-feeder school. Robinson was formerly committed to USC, and the Irish offered him for Pot of Gold day last year. He’s been really excited about the Irish ever since. He’s a dynamic slot receiver, and Notre Dame really, really wants him.

“It looks like his top three is Notre Dame, USC and Colorado. Personally, I think it’s more Notre Dame versus Colorado. I logged a prediction for Notre Dame to land him, but he’s going to Colorado this weekend, so it’s hard to feel overly confident in the pick. The RPM is reading pretty high on ND, but Colorado has more than a 1 percent chance at him at this point, for sure.
“Rarely will I make a prediction just based on my gut. I’m talking to a lot of people about these predictions. As much as I want to have fun with these picks and make bold predictions, I also take it very seriously and will talk to various sources — industry sources, people on the recruit’s side of things and on the Notre Dame side of things. And in talking to those sources coming off his visit, people are confident that he’ll end up at ND. Personally, I don’t share the same level of confidence … but I feel good enough logging that pick.”
