In a weekly YouTube live show, Blue & Gold’s Tim Hyde and Mike Singer discuss and react to the latest news and notes in the world of Notre Dame football and recruiting.

The guys didn’t have a show last week as Singer was on vacation, and a lot happened for the Irish’s defensive line recruiting efforts in the 2024 class in his absence. They break down the latest recruiting headlines, and discuss Penn State running back transfer Devyn Ford picking the Irish. What does it mean for Notre Dame’s running back room?

It is not a show to miss for Fighting Irish fans. Watch it in the video player below!

The show begins Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. If you are unable to watch it live, you can simply watch a replay by clicking play below.

One of Notre Dame’s notable targets in the 2024 class will announce his commitment later this week.

Clearwater (Fla.) Academy International interior defensive lineman Sean Sevillano tweeted Saturday afternoon that he’ll be making his college decision known Friday, June 2 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Auburn, Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State are the finalists for the Canadian-born rising senior prospect.

The Fighting Irish are considered the heavy favorite ahead of his decision according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at 91.6 percent.

Sources had told Blue & Gold earlier this month that he’d be officially visiting Ohio State June 2 and Notre Dame June 16. However, it seems Sevillano’s visit dates will likely change considering his impending decision.

Sevillano ranks as the nation’s No. 878 overall prospect and No. 82 defensive lineman according to the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3’s own rankings are slightly higher on Sevillano, listing him as the No. 66 defensive lineman in America. He’s also the No. 87 recruit in Florida per On3, while the Industry Ranking has him as the No. 120 player from the Sunshine State.
