A look at when the Notre Dame players suffered injuries
No details are available on when Dixon, Mullins, Terek or Wollan’s injuries occurred; Onye’s absence after the Louisville game on Sept. 28 was due to personal reasons. Here is a look at when the other 13 players suffered injuries.
— Bennie-Powell underwent surgery on his left shoulder labrum after a high school injury hindered him during preseason camp.
— Botelho injured his right knee on a pass rush against Purdue on Sept. 14.
— Carr injured his elbow during practice in September. He told Blue & Gold he would be 100% during the spring and estimated he threw a football 60-65 yards in the College Football Playoff.
— Craig injured his left knee on a run-blocking play against Purdue on Sept. 14.
— Flanagan suffered a left Achilles injury against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2.
— Kia suffered a torn ACL before fall camp. He played in last year’s Blue-Gold Game and had 12 tackles (6 solo) and 2 stops for loss during the April 20 intrasquad scrimmage.
