Look: Notre Dame football reveals updated home uniforms
The Notre Dame football program’s home uniforms will have a new look for this year and seemingly beyond. On ESPN’s First Take program on Friday, the Fighting Irish unveiled a new altered jersey, which features a gold Notre Dame monogram on the sleeve. The previous logo was white.
The new Irish home jersey also has a gold Under Armour logo centered at the top of the chest. The previous Under Armour logo was white and located on the upper left.
No changes have been announced to the Notre Dame away uniforms, which feature the standard Notre Dame blue logo on the sleeve. The Under Armour logo is also on the top left of the white jerseys, but it is also blue.
The Irish have also worn a green uniform for one home game each of the last two seasons under coach Marcus Freeman. The program has not revealed whether they will wear green uniforms at Notre Dame Stadium in 2024.

In addition, the Irish have also worn new uniforms for the annual “Shamrock Series” game, which began in 2009. This year, they will face Army at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 23. A uniform for that game has not been released.
Notre Dame’s first home game of the season is against Northern Illinois on Sept. 7. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
Under Freeman, the Irish are 9-3 when playing in South Bend. Their biggest victory came in upset fashion against No. 4 Clemson on Nov. 5, 2022. They defeated the Tigers 35-14 in primetime.
This season’s marquee Notre Dame home game will be against Florida State on Nov. 9. That is the only home game this season scheduled to kick off at night.
