FIVE DUKE PLAYERS TO KNOW

QB Riley Leonard (#13): Marcus Freeman called Leonard ND’s biggest challenge at the quarterback position, and it’s easy to see why. He can beat teams through the air, but he’s especially dangerous as a runner.

OT Graham Barton (#62): Depending on who you ask, Barton could sneak into the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He’s as sturdy as they come at left tackle.

RB Jordan Waters (#7): This spot could have gone to any of four skill players, the others being running back Jaquez Moore, wide receiver Jalon Calhoun or wide receiver Jordan Moore. But Waters’ Audric Estimé-level efficiency at 6.6 yards per carry stands out.

DeWayne Carter (#90): Carter is a key disruptor in Duke’s defensive front. If the Blue Devils can contain the ND running game, Carter will probably be a big reason why.

CB Myles Jones (#1): And you thought Sam Hartman was old. Jones is a seventh-year graduate transfer from Texas A&M who medically redshirted the past two seasons. With Duke in 2023, he’s been one of the best cover corners in the country.
