Another Notre Dame football walk-on tight end is seeking a new home. Blue & Gold recruiting insider Mike Singer reported that Andrew Yanoshak had entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Saturday.

Yanoshak, a senior, joins Fighting Irish walk-on tight end Charlie Selna by putting his name in the portal. Scholarship offensive linemen Pat Coogan, Rocco Spindler, Sam Pendleton and Ty Chan and wide receivers Deion Colzie and Jayden Thomas also entered the portal last week.

The 6-foot-2, 232-pound Yanoshak appeared on kick return against Louisville and punt coverage against Virginia last season. The Altoona (Pa.) Bishop Guilfoyle product played against Stanford in 2023.

He is expected to have at least one more year of eligibility remaining.

Notre Dame Quote of the Weekend

“I love the culture ND has. Coach (Marcus) Freeman always says that it’s the people that make ND special. And every time I come back up, I can see it more and more. They are definitely high on my interest. You don’t go to a place you don’t like three times. So they are definitely high.”
